Located just two miles south of downtown Denver you will find the remarkable Sante Fe Art District. This energizing neighborhood is made up of more than 60 art galleries, studios, and other small businesses. As soon as your feet hit the pavement you are engulfed in the colorful murals largely influenced by the strong Chicano/Latino community that has shaped this side of the city.
This district is home to Museo De Las Americas, where Latino art exhibitions are exclusively featured. Art spans from Central to South America. This is the only museum in the region dedicated to Latino culture. Sante Fe is also home to Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center, one of the only Latino theaters in the county.
First Friday Art Walks draws both Denver residents and travelers alike. There you can converse over food and drinks in the most creative of spaces. Make sure to visit the following restaurants while enjoying an evening of art with family and friends!
